The Indiana Pacers fell short in their quest to even their first-round NBA playoff series against the Milwaukee Bucks, dropping Game 2 by a score of 119-98. Despite leading the NBA with 1233 points per game during the regular season, the Pacers recorded their lowest point total and field-goal percentage in the series, shooting just 32.4% from the field.

The Pacers' struggles were evident from the start of the game, as they fell behind early and never recovered. The Bucks took control of the game in the second quarter, outscoring the Pacers 36-19 to take a 62-51 lead at halftime. The Pacers' shooting woes continued in the second half, as they were unable to find a rhythm on offense. Indiana was led by Domantas Sabonis, who finished with 22 points and 12 rebounds. Malcolm Brogdon added 16 points, but no other Pacers player scored in double figures.

The Bucks were led by Giannis Antetokounmpo, who had a triple-double with 30 points, 17 rebounds, and 10 assists. Khris Middleton added 27 points, and Jrue Holiday contributed 22 points. The Bucks' defense was also impressive, as they held the Pacers to just 32.4% shooting from the field.

With the loss, the Pacers now trail the Bucks 2-0 in the series. Game 3 of the series will be played in Indiana on Friday night. The Pacers will need to find a way to improve their shooting and defense if they want to avoid falling into a deeper hole in the series.
