The Brisbane Lions are celebrating smashing the Club's membership record with 52373 fans signing on as members in season 2023.

The Club's new membership tally places it second only to Collingwood in the AFL, with the two clubs now boasting the largest membership bases in the competition.

The Lions' membership drive has been boosted by a number of factors, including the Club's strong on-field performance in recent years, as well as its commitment to providing affordable and accessible membership options.

The Club's CEO Greg Swann thanked members for their unwavering support.

"This is a tremendous achievement for our Club," Swann said.

"To have over 50,000 members is a testament to the passion and commitment of our fans."

"We are proud to have the second-largest membership base in the AFL, and we look forward to continuing to grow our membership in the years to come."
