Playoff Race

The playoff race is heating up in both conferences. The Chicago Sky and Las Vegas Aces are the clear favorites to win their respective conferences, but there is still a lot of competition for the remaining playoff spots. In the Eastern Conference, the Connecticut Sun, Washington Mystics, New York Liberty, and Indiana Fever are all within striking distance of a playoff berth. The Atlanta Dream are also in the mix, but they will need to make a strong push in the second half of the season to qualify for the postseason. In the Western Conference, the Seattle Storm, Dallas Wings, Phoenix Mercury, and Los Angeles Sparks are all in contention for a playoff spot. The Minnesota Lynx are also in the mix, but they will need to make a strong push in the second half of the season to qualify for the postseason. The WNBA playoffs will begin on August 29th. The top two teams in each conference will receive a bye to the second round. The remaining four teams in each conference will play in a single-elimination first round.
